Looking for something for sterilized cats and couch potatoes? Sterilized cat food is designed for all cats with reduced energy requirements.
This food is designed for sterilized cats, cats with low activity levels, or cats that need to lose weight. Compared to adult foods, Sterilized has less fat, and also contains L-carnitine and DL-methionine.
L-carnitine is a non-essential amino acid that has a key function in metabolism and supports the physiological conversion of fats in cells into energy.
DL-methionine is an essential amino acid (part of proteins) that has diuretic effects due to its sulphur content. Methionine is therefore used as a treatment and prevention of urinary stones. These often occur in older and overweight cats. For this reason, small amounts of methionine are added to sterilized cat foods or their 'light' versions.
with L-carnitine for proper metabolic function

There is something for everyone!
This range of food is specially adapted to the different stages of a cat's life and their individual needs. Because kittens need different amounts of nutrients than adult cats, and likewise cats in their best years have different food requirements than senior cats. There are also special variants for castrated cats and couch potatoes - with reduced fat and L-carnitine.
