Bracco Dummy 1000 g, floating - various colors

The Bracco Dummies series is an integral part of training a Retriever, whether for hunting, preparation for the basic test of Retriever skills in the Czech Republic, or for Dummy Sport.

BRACCO Dummy weighing 250g is the second fetch after Puppy Dummy that your Retriever will get to know.

We can use it as early as the third month, but keep in mind that when the dog is changing teeth, the fetch filled with floating mixture can be very uncomfortable for him. Then you can go back to the Puppy Dummy, which is filled with hollow fiber for these reasons as well.

Even if the dog grows out of the Dummy's 250g weight, you will definitely continue to use it... perhaps for training in tall grass, where your dog will train its sense of smell.
We start using 500g Bracco Dummy from the fifth month of the dog, but this also depends on the size of the dog.
We can use the 1000g Bracco Dummy from the eighth month, if the dog has mastered Dummies weighing 500g.

If the dog starts retrieving later...e.g. in one year, we will choose a 500g Bracco Dummy so that it is not unnecessarily difficult for him.

All Bracco Dummies weights are filled with a floating mixture, so they can be safely used during training in water. We will start this when we are 100% done with the land training.

We can scent the Bracco Dummy with the smell of game and use a longer string to create a discipline for the dog to track down and bring game.

If your dog with a fetch in the mouth starts to play, toss it around, we will immediately choose a heavier fetch to prevent bad habits. If he doesn't have a big enough mouth for this, we use the same size retrieve, but filled with sand.
